Francine's Friends was honored to be among the 36 health care recipients who received the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly Health Care Award on
September 11. The honorees were selected from a record number of
nominations and were chosen by the judges because they exemplify the
significant contributions one individual or organization can make to the
quality of health care for all in northeast Indiana.
"We are so
excited and very happy to have been selected as an honoree for the
Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly Health Care Awards!" said Sharon
Simmons, Francine's Friends board president. "On behalf of the entire
board of Francine’s Friends, we thank you very much for honoring us and
our mission to make screening mammography available to any woman in our
community regardless of their ability to pay."
